Dr. Robert Correa graduated from medical school at Universidad de Oriente in Bolivar, Venezuela on 1994. Afterwards, he specialized in Internal Medicine (1999) and Cardiology (2002) at Hospital Universitario de Caracas and Hospital Central de la Fuerza Armada de Venezuela respectively, both university hospitals of Universidad Central de Venezuela. He later did a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Hospital Privado Centro Médico de Caracas (2005). In November 2016, he completed a two-year online Master’s Degree in Advances in Cardiology at Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (Murcia-Spain); endorsed by the Spanish Society of Cardiology in conjunction with the Venezuelan Society of Cardiology. He has various scientific publications in the areas of Vessel Wall Endothelium and Nitric Oxide. Currently, he works as an interventional cardiologist at Hospital Universitario de Santader (Bucaramanga-Colombia), as a member of Santander Medical Group. Additionally, he belongs to Hospital Privado Centro Médico de Caracas´ medical staff (Caracas- Venezuela), where he also was the former Scientific Coordinator of its Cardiovascular Investigations Unit named Dr. Victor Baquero.
